System 2 believe it is only possible to tackle complex issues by engaging deeply with those with lived experience.
In early 2024, System 2 established a Youth Advisory Board comprising of 12 young people, with three main objectives.
Firstly, we seek to amplify the perspectives of young people on the big issues that they identify as affecting them the most.
Secondly, the Youth Advisory Board supports the decision making of our Research Committee, including which areas to focus on.
Thirdly, members of the Youth Advisory Board work with our Research Leads and participate directly in our research projects, where their lived experience is valued.
